Why We Attend: Mesquite is a fun flying experience mixing populated areas and agricultural areas.  We will fly two balloons at this event so we need crew.

Why We Attend: Kanab is just fun! And it is a beautiful place to fly next to the red rocks which are sometimes dusted with snow. We will fly two balloons.

Why We Attend:  We absolutely LOVE the coordinator, Josh Lewis and his family.  This is a great rally with friendly pilots.  This will be Susan's first rally to fly this year so we are super excited. We will fly two balloons if we can get enough crew.

American Freedom Fest

Why We Attend:  Provo puts on an amazing 4th of July celebration and our good friends Curt, Susie, and the Bramble family make the balloon event extra special for pilots. We love spending time at this rally and enjoying our Utah friends. We will fly two balloons.

Dina "Soar" Days Balloon Rally

Why We Attend:  This rally is so much fun.  The city of Vernal is full of enthusiastic bystanders excited to get involved. It is the largest balloon event in Utah attended by most of our ballooning friends. We will be flying two balloons.

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic

Aug. 28 - Sept. 1, 2024
Boise, Idaho

Why We Attend:  This rally is a long way to travel, but launching from Ann Morrison Park is spectacular and flying in Boise, known as the City of Trees, is fun.  We have great local crew we love to see and the hospitality of the Spencer family is awesome as they put on an unforgettable show for the community. We will only fly one balloon.

The Great Reno Balloon Race

Why We Attend:     One of our very favorite rallies.  Greg is honored to have learned to be a Dawn Patrol pilot under the tutelage of Tim Taylor.  He now dawns the sky before the sun rises to be one of a small group to put on the early morning show.  We return to the field, propane, and still have time to fly again during mass ascension. Greg will fly Just Ducky in Dawn Patrol and Susan will fly him afterwards during mass ascension.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

Why We Attend: One of the largest events in the world, we have been attending since 2007 as crew and since 2016 as pilots. Greg flies Floating Awaysis in Dawn Patrol each day and when he lands, we change tanks and Susan flies the sky dotted with balloons all around! This is the longest event we attend and we welcome friends to join us anytime throughout the nine days we fly. We will only be flying Floating Awaysis.


Events for the week:
Mass Ascensions both Saturdays and Sundays and Wednesday 
America's Challenge  -- This gas balloon race continues to break ballooning distance records. 
Special Shapes Rodeo Thurs. & Fri. -- These unique events showcase some of the most uniquely shaped balloons at our event in an AM flight
Special Shapes Glowdeo Thurs & Fri, -- These unique events showcase some of the most uniquely shaped balloons at our event in a PM glow. 
Twilight Twinkle Glow Sat., Balloon Glow Sun., and Night Magic Glow Sat.  -- At twilight the burners of tethered balloons are ignited, illuminating the night with colorfully glowing envelopes that guests can wander amongst before enjoying the AfterGlow Fireworks show.
AfterGlow Fireworks Both Saturdays, Sun., Thurs. & Fri.-- Following each glow event the night blooms with the most spectacular firework show in the state.

Animas Valley Balloon Rally

Oct. 18 - 20, 2024
Durango, Colorado

25 Balloons 

Why We Attend:  Animas Valley is nestled in-between two mountains just outside of Durango providing beautiful scenery for flying hot air balloons.  Both Greg and Susan fly in this event, which is also run by our friend Doug. We will fly two balloons if we can get enough crew.

Page Balloon Regatta

Oct. 31 - Nov. 3, 2024
Page, Arizona

Why We Attend: One of the prettiest places to fly, Page offers small-town hospitality, a large lake and outdoor activities, and fabulous slot canyons for which to aim. There is nothing more satisfying and exhilarating than to skinny your balloon down to the bottom of a red rock canyon and get out to take some great shots. We only fly Floating Awaysis.

Festival Internacional de Globo (FIG)

Nov. 15 - 18, 2024
Leon, Mexico

Why We Attend: This is a challenging flight but truly rewarding event. Immersed in a completely different cultural environment, we love the experience. We have had the same crew each time we have attended and look forward to seeing them each year. The crowd is like no other and the traffic trying to chase is bumper-to-bumper. We only fly Just Ducky.

Gila Valley New Year's Balloon Extravaganza

Why We Attend: We host this event which is where we invite 20 of the top pilots to come fly in the Gila Valley. This event is possible due to the AZ Air Ventures and the generous businesses in our community who sponsor this event.
